A time in Belize
Well it is 8 am and not 7 "Like you know spring forward, Like" I have allot to do like grocery shopping, auto repair just miner stuff. Now onto Major things like my Belize trip. It's a tiny country at the base of the Yucatan Peninsula just under Mexico. The dense rain forest is dotted with Mayan ruins and is also home to wide range of tropical wildlife, ranging from jaguars, ocelots, keel boated macaws and howler monkeys. Offshore is the second largest barrier reef in the world. We had planned on the cave tubing for the day, but because of high season rain the excursion was canceled, so instead we booked a snorkel trip on board a party boat going out several miles among the mangroves away from the Grand Princess to the reef. What a day, it felt like swimming in an aquarium, we where also blessed with the nurse shark"yikes" but, was told not to worry he is very shy. Later that day my daughter and I took the longest tender boat in to Belize City, where it took us ten minutes to get there. Wewalked along the pier, observed some remodeling being done, bought my usual Coffey mug, hat pin and tea shirt of course and back to the ship, what a wonderful day............ now unto Cozumel.
Now until next time!
Lov ya!
